Germany and Lichtenstein

After a slight mix up of if anyone was picking us up at the airport or not we made our way to the RV rental facility in Munich.  We rented an RV very similar to the Winnebago Ekko which is one Jay and I have had our eye on for while.  It's slightly larger then our current Van with loads more storage space!  After the papers were signed we quickly set off in search of a gas station as oddly enough the rental facility leaves you on empty!  Once fueled we made a quick stop at Aldi for some groceries before making our way to the campground.  We spent one night at Campingplatz Munchen in Munich.  This campground backs up to a river which giant barges of people singing and dancing pass by.  There is also a spot that makes a natural wave for surfers.  We stopped and watched that for  bit before heading to check out a pool that the girl had spotted on our drive in.  The pool was massive and thankfully open to the public for 3 Euros.  As much as we would have loved to have gone into Munich that evening we decided after a grilled cheese dinner that after our day of travel with little sleep we were better off getting a good nights sleep to set us up for the rest of our trip.  I fell asleep around 8 and slept until 9 the next morning!  That morning we drove to Neuschwanstein Castle.  Tickets to tour inside the castle were sold out so we just made the trek up to it.  In hind sight you really had a better view of it from down below.  After the castle we made our way to Lichtenstein.  Crossing the border was much like going through a toll booth except we slowed down to talk to the man at the booth and he just waved us through.  We spent the night at Camping Mittagssptze.  This was an adorable campground set into the mountain.  There was a small playground a pool that we definitely would have taken advantage of had it not been raining and a pop up summer beer garden which is where we had dinner.  They also took your order in the evening for fresh baked bread that they would have ready for you to pick up the following morning. (we forgot to order!)  The bathrooms were clean and the showers were super hot!  After a good nights sleep we ventured into Vaduz.  We stopped and got our passports stamped and had a late breakfast at a little Cafe.  Before heading on our way we stopped at Guttenberg Castle.  The views were amazing and the girls enjoyed the little playground before we made our way to Switzerland.
